OUR TEAM

JESS EBERT

Owner/Designer

Jess started Four Story Interiors in 2015 as a way to combine her love of design with her decades-long experience in managing relationships and high-level projects through her PR and event planning careers. This background allows Jess to offer expert levels of organization and communication, all while building strong relationships with clients in a fun, warm, and creative environment.

New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Nashville, and San Diego have all been home for Jess, and she has collected style inspiration from every one of them. For the last decade, Jess has lived in Charlotte with her husband, three children, and their dogs.

JULIE PAGE SMITH

Project Manager

A native Charlottean, Julie has always had a love of design. From studying Studio Art at UNC-Chapel Hill to her stint designing jewelry in NYC, she spent decades honing her craft and style. But it was her time running the beloved local boutique Cottage Chic that truly piqued her interest in interiors. After 10 fulfilling years there, Julie spent the next few at home raising her two daughters. Now, at Four Story, she is thrilled to be immersed in the design world and simultaneously execute her innate client service expertise.

AMANDA TOMLINSON

Project Assistant

Amanda’s experience recruiting, developing client relationships, and marketing at law firms in Charlotte and New York City, and her education from the School of Journalism and Media at UNC-Chapel Hill have prepared her to assist Jess and Julie with all the details of a Four Story design.

Amanda grew up and lives in Charlotte with her husband, Chris, and two kids Claire and Harry. When she is not assisting Jess and Julie at Four Story, Amanda is working on her tennis game at Barclay Downs, and enjoys piddling in the yard.

It’s hard to overstate how enjoyable it was to work with Jess and Julie. Having never used an interior designer, we weren’t sure what to expect. However, they made the process extremely fun and we learned a lot about our own personal style along the way. Our house truly feels like a home now and we are so glad we chose Four Story to guide us on our journey! Highly recommended!
